Handmade tubular (also called "sewups" or "sprints") tires
Dourdoigne was established in 1952 and described
as "in a garage somewhere near Granville. The quality
of these tires was of the highest order. Andre Dugast
was involved with that concern and in 1974 went out on
his own with his 'Dugast' brand of tubulars. The
Dourdoigne firm ceased business in 1977. The Dugast
brand ceased production in France in 2005, purchased
and shifted to Holland.
