Handmade tubular (also called "sewups" or "sprints") tires
was established in 1952 and described as "in
a garage somewhere near
Granville. The quality of these tires was of the
highest order. Andre
Dugast was involved with that
concern and in 1974 went out on
with his 'Dugast' brand of tubulars. The Dourdoigne firm
business in 1977.
The Dugast brand ceased production in
France in 2005, purchased and shifted
