   Established in 1935, Bob Jackson Cycles purchased Merlin Cycles (not assoc. with USA Titanium bike makers) in 1956 and made bikes under the JRJ  label (John Robert Jackson).By the early 1970s, these other labels were phased out. In the 1980s, Jackson also produced the Hetchins marque.
