Established in 1935, Bob Jackson Cycles (JRJ) purchased Merlin Cycles (not assoc. with USA Titanium bike makers) in 1956. By the 1970s, these other labels were phased out in favor of Bob Jackson Cycles.  In the 1980s, Jackson also produced the Hetchins marque. Bob Jackson passed away in 1999.
