'Berec' was the name given to the
Ever Ready Company, when it was taken over by Hanson Trust at a time
when it was becoming fashionable to 're-brand' old-established
companies, and reduce their names to a string of initials - 'Berec'
representing British Ever Ready Electric Co. There was yet another very popular lamp made by Berec and labeled 'Chloride'. Tony Colegrave. |
