"Reg was a marvelous track rider and was 6 times British National Champion- 5 Sprints and 1 Stayer.

His namesake frames were possibly built by Alec Bird, Clive Stuart (Biddulph), Falcon Cycles, Ron Cooper and Edwards of Camberwell.

Towards the end of his career he raced for Barnett-Edwards-Shimano on the road."
